Rachael Lynn Blake, 46, of Rossville, IL passed away at 8:16 P.M. Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born July 13, 1980, the daughter of Dan Jewell and Kathy (Graham) Lawton. She married Scott “Wally” Blake on August 3, 2001 at the Rossville Methodist Church. He survives in Rossville.
Along with her husband, she is also survived by her mother, Kathy Lawton; her step-mom, Debra Jewell; one sister, Andrea (Jeremy) Lile of Hoopeston; two brothers, John Whiting and Justin Carter, both of Texas; her bestie, Amanda Cox of Hoopeston; several nieces and nephews, and her puppies, Little and Beavis.
She was preceded in death by her father, her maternal grandparents, Carl & Wanda Graham and her paternal grandparents, Jake & Chloa Jewell.
Rachael graduated from Rossville-Alvin High School in 1998. She went on to further her education at DACC where she received her RN in 2005.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a visitation will be held 1:00 – 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Anderson Funeral Home 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL
