Sue Ann Fox, 86, of Milford, IL, passed away at 9:40 A.M. Monday, August 24, 2026, at IMH Resident Home in Watseka, IL. She was born May 16, 1940, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of William O. and Helen (Williams) Briscoe. She married Wayne E. Fox on April 12, 1959, at the Milford Christian Church. He survives in Milford.
She is also survived by her three sons, Glenn (Daryl) Fox of Lisle, IL, David (Mitzi) Fox of Milford, IL, and Vincent (Michelle) Fox of Milford, IL; brother-in-law, Dr. Gerald Fox M.D. of Green Valley, AZ; five grandchildren, Jamie Dornberg, Elizabeth (Suzette) Armijo-Fox, Kristin (Niko) Foltys, Wade Fox, and Hunter Fox (Sam Wendel); five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lucy Green.
Sue worked as a receptionist for Dr. Razvi for many years. She was a member of Milford Christian Church where she was very active serving as co-chair of Harvest of Talents and was in charge of funeral dinners for many years. She previously served as Treasurer of Milford Township. Sue loved her family and enjoyed attending her children’s and grandchildren’s events and games. She also enjoyed baking, gardening, reading, and needlepointing.
Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Milford Christian Church, 811 E. Hickory St., Milford, IL. The funeral service will follow the visitation and will begin at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 5th, at the church with Pastor Brent Zastrow and Ed Highfill officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Stockland, IL.
