Mark Allen Ramsey “Pops,” 61, of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 15, 2026.
Born and raised in Hoopeston, Illinois, Mark was a man whose greatest accomplishments were never found on a résumé or written on a piece of paper. His greatest accomplishments were the people he loved, the family he built, and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself.
On October 10, 1987, Mark married the love of his life, Angie. Together, they shared 39 years of marriage, building a beautiful life centered around faith, family, love, and countless memories.
Mark was a devoted husband, dad, Pops, brother, and friend. He was the kind of man who would do absolutely anything for his family. He was humble, selfless, hardworking, kind, and had a heart that was simply too big for this world. His family was everything to him.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Angie (Kincade) Ramsey; his children, Brandon (Erica Jeffery) Ramsey, and their children, Jaxton Ramsey and Skylynn Jeffery; Annie Jo (Jeremy) Moody, and their children, Jake, Luke, and Reese; and Abby (John) Bailey, and their children, Brett and Finnley; his parents, Bobby and Anita “Bonnie” Ramsey; his brothers, Don “Bubby” (Shirley) Mathews, Rick Ramsey, and Steve Ramsey; his sisters, Valarie (Mark) Hinkle, Jackie (Brian) Field, and Stephanie (Warren) Crabtree.
Being a Pops was one of the greatest joys of Mark’s life, right alongside being a dad and devoted husband. There was never a game, motocross race, trap shoot, practice, activity, or event that he would miss. If his kids or grandkids were there, Pops was there. He was their biggest fan, their loudest cheerleader, and one of the people they could always count on to be in their corner.
Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith, and countless cherished memories. His family will carry with them the lessons he taught, his never-ending sense of humor, and the love he gave so generously. His greatest hope was found in his faith, and he is now home with the Jesus he loved and faithfully followed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Summit Church in Vilonia, located at 1100 US Hwy 64 E, Vilonia, Arkansas 72173.
