Susan L. “Mimi” Jordan, 66, of Rankin, IL, passed away at 3:40 A.M. on Thursday November 5, 2026, at Carle Hoopeston Regional Health Center. She was born on February 10, 1960, in Fairbury, IL, the daughter of Larry and Mary Ann (Ketchum) Scott.
She is survived by her daughter, Erica (Chuck) Pajor of Hoopeston, IL; her two sons, Preston Jordan of Rankin, IL and Andrew Jordan of Hoopeston, IL; two brothers, Christopher Scott of Savoy, IL and Steve (Diane) Scott of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Brenda Scott of Rantoul, IL; three grandsons, Landon, Logan, and Ian Pajor; and two nephews, Brandon and Nick Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Mary Ann Scott; two brothers, Randy and Kevin Scott; four aunts; one uncle; and one nephew, Travis Scott.
Susan found joy in her work as a housekeeper at Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home. She loved listening to ’70s music, watching old crime dramas, and taking drives through the countryside. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandsons.
Cremation rites will be accorded, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
