Details: At the above time person(s) unknown and without permission removed a black purse from a vehicle parked on the lot.

Unit 1: 1997 Chevy 4D driven by Dylan Slaughter (M)(17) of Hoopeston
Unit 2: 2004 Jeep driven by Jasmine Sills (F)(23) of Hoopeston
Details: Hoopeston Police were requested to respond to the parking lot to investigate
an accident. Unit 1 was stationary in a parking spot, went to exit the vehicle
and did not see Unit 2 approaching. Unit 1 opened his door to exit into the path
of Unit 2. No injuries were reported and both units were insured.
Warrant Arrest, Driving While License Revoked H18-0718

Arrested: Patrick Henning (44) Hoopeston male
Details: HPD officers performed a traffic stop on Mr. Henning after they noticed
the car he was driving had an expired registration. A computer check revealed
that subject’s driver’s license was revoked, and he had an outstanding warrant
through Vermilion County. He was taken to HPD, processed and later released
after posting bond and receiving a traffic citation.

Unit 2: 2017 GMC Arcadia driven by Misti D Kaag (F) (54) of Hoopeston
Details: Hoopeston Police responded to report of Accident PD only in the 100 block of
South 4th Street. Unit 1 is at fault unit, and driver was cited for Failure to Obtain Insurance on the Vehicle. No injuries reported at the time of report.
Counterfeit Currency H18-0726

Location: Hoopeston Coin Laundry, 209 S 1st Avenue
Details: An employee called HPD to come to the business reference to a counterfeit $20 bill being used. Upon arrival officer spoke to the employee who said a customer tried to use the bill and they retained it. The customer reported that the bill was obtained as change in Danville.

Arrested: Kayla Petty (23) Hoopeston female
Details: Ms. Petty turned herself into the Hoopeston Police Department on an outstanding
Iroquois County warrant for Failure to Appear. Subject was processed and
released after posting bond.
Criminal Trespass to Real Property; Disorderly Conduct H18-0732
Time: 9:04pm
Location: 700 block of S. 1st Ave
Arrested: Robin Irvin () of Hoopeston
Details: Officer were dispatched in reference to a female refusing to leave the above location. Once on scene Irvin was taken into custody and taken to HPD where she was charged with the above, processed and later released with a mandatory court date.
