Hoopeston Police Department Report 4/21/18 & 4/22/18

Restraint of dogs by Owner

Time:                    10:15 am

Location:              400 S Market Street

Cited:                   Strawser, Bridget B (F) (24) of Hoopeston

Details:                 Hoopeston Animal Control was called out in reference to a pair of

                             dogs that was running loose.  Animal Control found the dogs and knew

                             who the owner was.  Ms. Strawser was mailed a notice to appear in

                             city court.

Location:              1650 E. Rd/4000 N. Rd

Details:                 HFD responded to the above in reference to a barn on fire.

 

Aggravated Battery                H18-1964   V18-3252

Time:                    11:55pm

Location:              306 E Main St, Bzzz’s Place

Complainant:        44 year old Hoopeston male

Arrested:              Timothy Coon (40) Hoopeston male

Details:                 HPD was called out for the report of a battery that had occurred.  After

                             an investigation, Mr. Coon was arrested for aggravated battery.  He was

                             taken to HPD, processed and later transported to the PSB to await

                             arraignment.

 

Battery, Warrant Arrest                  H18-1965             V18-3253

Time:               12:05am

Location:         306 E Main St, Bzzz’s Place

Complainant:   25 year old Hoopeston male

Arrested:          Tonya Edwards (41) Hoopeston female

Details:            HPD was called in reference to a battery that had occurred at the above

                        location.  After an investigation, Ms. Edwards was arrested for battery,

                        and a computer check revealed that she had 2 outstanding warrants through

                        Vermilion County.  The warrants were for FTA Pretrial DWLS and an ordinance violation of Owner’s Duties. Subject was taken to HPD, processed and later transported to the PSB in lieu of bond. 

 

Fire Call

Time:               09:45 AM

Location:         800 E Lincoln Street

Details:            HFD & HPD responded to report of illegal burning.  HFD arrived on scene and determined that fire was supervised and under control. No action taken. 

 

Battery (City Ordinance)                 H18-1978

Time:               2:21pm

Location:         300 block of E. McCracken

Arrested:          Autumn K. Walder (21) of Hoopeston

Details:            Officers were flagged down at the above location in reference to a battery that had just occurred. Walder was charged with the above, transported to HPD, where she was processed and later released with a notice to appear.

 

 

Domestic Battery           H18-1981             V18-3275

Time:               5:20pm

Location:         700 block of S. 1st Ave

Arrested:          Ambrosio Ybarra (21) of Hoopeston

Details:            HPD responded to the above in reference to an officer standby.

                        After further investigation Mr. Ybarra was charged domestic battery and taken to HPD, where he was processed and later transported to the PSB to await arraignment.
