Hoopeston Police Department Report 10/3-10/4/18

Traffic Accident            H18-5468

Time:                    3:43pm

Location:              800 blk E Penn

Unit #1:                2007 Saturn driven by Judith Kunce (72) of Hoopeston

Unit #2:                2006 Chrysler van owned by Tamorah Jerome of Hoopeston

Details:                 Driver of Unit 1 struck Unit 2 while it was parked and unoccupied.

                                     

 

 

 

Domestic Battery, Possession of Controlled Substance  H18-5469  V18-8862

Time:                    4:25pm

Location:              Parkview Court

Complainant:        19 year Hoopeston female

Arrested:              Andrew D Cordova (23) (M) of Hoopeston

Details:                 Officers responded for a disturbance.  Cordova was taken into custody

                             for Domestic Battery.  While searching his person Methamphetamine

                             was found which he was also charged with.   He was transported to

                             PSB for arraignment.     

Warrant Arrest                       H18-5488   V18-8875

Time:          12:26am

Location:    400 blk E Penn

Arrested:     Marty Fink (65) (M) of Hoopeston

Details:       HPD officers stopped the vehicle that Mr. Fink was the passenger.  A computer

                   check revealed that he had an outstanding Arizona DOC warrant.  He was taken to

                   HPD, processed and later transported to the PSB in Danville to await extradition.

 

 

Criminal Damage to Vehicle                      H18-5493

Time:                    10:23 am

Location:              400 block E Seminary Street

Complainant:        30 year old Hoopeston male

Details:       At the above complainant contacted HPD reference to damage done to his vehicle.

          Investigation continues

 

 

Retail Theft                                       H18-5496

Time:          4:12pm

Location:    700 blk W Orange

Detail:         Business made a report of a subject removing an item from the store

                   without paying for it.
