Hoopeston Police Department Report 6/7-6/9/19

Breach of Peace Constituting Disorderly Conduct                          H19-3008

Time:             3:27am

Location:       500 blk S 2nd Av

Complainant: 68 year old male

Arrested:       Bailee Cannon (F)(19) of Hoopeston

Details:         HPD officers were called to the above location for the report of loud music. 

                       The complainant advised officers that he would be willing to sign a city ticket

                       for disorderly conduct.  The subject was issued a ticket for city court and given

                       a city court date.

 

 

Burglary to Vehicle                                                                                              H19-3027

Time:           3:26pm

Location:     300 blk E Seminary Av

Complainant: 72 year old male 

Details:          At the above time complainant contacted HPD in reference to an item stolen

                      from his vehicle while it was parked at the above location.  Report was taken.         

 

Residential Burglary                        H19-3042

Time:             11:49pm

Location:       200 blk E Washington St

Complainant:  62 year old Hoopeston male

Details:          HPD officers took a report of unknown subject(s) taking items from the

                      complainant’s residence without permission.  An investigation continues.   

 

Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia   H19-3044   V19-4591

Time:          12:36am

Location:    700 E Honeywell Av

Arrested:     Coty Morgeson (28)(M) of Hoopeston

Details:       HPD officers checked out with Mr. Morgeson while on patrol.  An investigation

                   found the subject to be in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. 

                   The subject was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed.  He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

 

Recovered Phone

Time:          10:30am

Location:     McFerren Park by Lagoon Area

Details:       An IPhone has been brought to HPD it is fully charged.  But the phone is locked so the owner will have to prove to HPD that they are the correct owner by open the phone with password.      Owner may come to HPD to claim it

 

Criminal Damage to Property (over $500)                   H19-3075

Time:             3:01pm

Location:       500 blk E Lincoln St

Complainant:  62 year old Hoopeston female

Details:          Complainant flagged HPD officers down at the above location when she             

                      noticed that unknown subject(s) had broken the back window her to vehicle.         

                      An investigation continues.
