Location:    Vermilion County Housing Apartments 500 S 6^th Ave

Details:       Resident called in about a smoke detector malfunctioning and active, no smoke seen or smelled but could smell odor of Natural Gas in the apartment.  HFD responded to the scene and Ameren, VCHA was also called to respond also. 

                   No report of injuries or sickness. 

 

 

Possession of Meth; Driving While License Suspended; Fleeing/Eluding; No Valid Registration; Operating Uninsured Vehicle                  H19-4349   V19-6827

Location:    200 block of E. Honeywell

Arrested:     Michael Abbott (50) Hoopeston male

Details:       Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle Abbott was driving. After a short pursuit Abbott was taken into custody and transported HPD, where he was charged with the above, processed and later transported to the PSB.
