(Urbana, IL | September 16, 2019) — Champaign/Urbana area businesses, schools and civic organizations are invited to choose a day in October to participate in It’s All in the Jeans Day.
A $5 donation to the OSF HealthCare Foundation allows participants to wear denim. Through a special business match program, each $5 donation has the potential of being tripled. If a business matches their employees’ contribution, special business sponsors will “match the match,” essentially tripling the original $5 donation.
Commemorative Jeans Day t-shirts are also available for purchase at the Foundation office by calling (217) 337-4713 or by email at Paula.N.Santiago@osfhealthcare.org.
This marks the 12th year for All in the Jeans Day. All proceeds remain in the local community to benefit cancer prevention, detection, and treatment programs. Financial assistance for preventative breast exams and providing durable medical equipment for cancer patients are among the services supported through the event. Funding is also used to provide community education on the importance of regular cancer screenings.
Since 2004, It’s All in the Jeans Day has raised almost $400,000 in the local fight against breast cancer.
