Hoopeston Police Department Report 11/10/19

Location: 101 W. Main St (Ted’s)

Details: Officers were called to the above in reference to a counterfeit $100 bill.

Investigation continues.

 

 

 

Possession of Stolen Vehicle; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Minor; Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer H19-6115 V19-0004

Time: 4:06pm

Location: 300 block of W. Penn 

Arrested: (17) year old male Urbana juvenile 

Arrested: (15) year old male Urbana juvenile 

Arrested: Tyrell Pettis (18) year old Urbana Male 

Details: Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle after a computer check revealed the vehicle to be stolen. After a short pursuit the driver of the vehicle lost control causing the vehicle to strike a speed sign and a residence. The above three subjects fled on foot, but were located and brought to HPD. Pettis and the 15 year old juvenile were charged with the above. The 17 year old driver of the vehicle was charged with the above in addition to Aggravated Fleeing and Attempt to Elude; Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign; Leaving the Scene of an Accident. All subjects were processed and later transported to the PSB.

Details: HFD was dispatched to the above for a vehicle on fire. 

 

Criminal Damage to Property H19-6123

Time: 10:17pm

Location: 800 E. Main St

Complainant: (61) year old Hoopeston Female

Details: Complainant contacted HPD after damage had been done to her residence.

An investigation continues.
