Details: Unit #1 was backing from a parking space. Unit #2 was parked and unoccupied.
Unit #1 struck unit #2 and fled the scene. An investigation continues.

Arrested Driver: Martinez, Macalie M (F) (25) of Hoopeston
Investigations followed up on the accident report and was able to identify the suspect unit and driver. Female was cited for Leaving Scene of Property Damage Accident, Driving while License Revoked.

to Elude Peace Officer, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest

Arrested: Michael Abbott (51) (M) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD officers stopped the vehicle that Mr. Abbott was driving on a traffic violation.
After a small vehicle pursuit, subject finally stopped. A computer check revealed that he had a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
