Unit 1: 2005 Freightliner Van Driven by Stevens, Tangeva G (M) (31) of Woodland

Unit 2: 2003 International Dump Truck by Prather, James A (58) (M) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was backing from a driveway as Unit 2 was backing up to repositions the snow plow. When they collided. Both units insured, no citations, no injuries, and both units were driven away.

 

 

Traffic Accident (PD) H20-0811

Location: 200 block of S. Dixie Hwy

Unit #1: 1997 Ford F150 driven by Kayla Waddell (24) (F) of Naples, FL

Unit #2: 2011 Chevrolet SUV driven by Carlos Sanchez Jr (25) (M) of Mount Pleasant, WI

Details: Unit #1 was traveling northbound on S Dixie Hwy, attempting to turn into Casey’s

parking lot and struck Unit #2. A computer check revealed that driver of Unit #1

had a suspended FL driver’s license. She was arrested and taken to HPD to be

processed. She was later released with a notice to appear in traffic court and given

citations for Driving While License Suspended and Failure to Reduce Speed to

Avoid an Accident. No injuries were reported and both units were insured.
