Hoopeston Police Department Report 7/10-7/13/2020

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO AUTO H20-2962

Time: 07:06 AM

Location: 300 block S 4th Street

Complainant: 27 year old Hoopeston Man

Details: Complainant contacted HPD reference to person(s) unknown had done damage to his car while it was parked at the residence. Investigation Continued

 

 

BURGLARY TO AUTO H20-2961

Time: 06:59 AM

Location: 800 block E McCracken Avenue

Complainant: 58 year old Female of Hoopeston

Details: Complainant reported to HPD that person(s) entered her car and removed items without permission. Investigation Continued.

Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia H20-2998 2020-5340

Time: 4:31pm

Location: 200 blk W Maple St

Arrested: Blake Meehan (M) (19) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was called to the area in reference to a possible fight. Upon an investigation,

Mr. Meehan was found to have methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia on

his person. He was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later

transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

Obstructing Justice, Resisting Arrest, and Battery on a Peace Officer H20-3020

Time: 14:49hrs

Location: Parkview Court Apartments

Arrested: Malea Chandler (18) of Hoopeston and Lori Chandler (20) of Hoopeston

Details: Officers responded to a disturbance in the location of above. While on scene, both female subjects became combative and refused to follow officers’ orders. Lori was transported to HPD on the charge of Resisting/Arrested. She was released on a Notice to Appear. Malea was transported to HPD on the charges of Obstructing Justice, Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer (X2), and Resisting Arrest. She was processed and later transported to the PSB.

 

Assault (City Ordinance) H20-3023

Time: 17:37hrs

Location: 900 blk Wilson Ave.

Victim: 32yo female of Hoopeston

Cited: Romiro Lopez (34) of Hoopeston

Details: Officers responded for a domestic disturbance in the area of above. Mr. Lopez was issued a City Ordinance for Assault in reference to the incident and released with a mandatory court date.

 

Wanted on Warrant (Vermilion County 2020CF429) H20-3022

Time: 17:10hrs

Location: 700 blk S. 2nd Ave.

Arrested: Frank Spina (67) of Milford

Details: Officers responded to the area of above in reference to a complaint. A computer check revealed Mr. Spina to be wanted on Vermilion County Warrant 2020CF429 for failure to appear. Mr. Spina was transported to HPD where he was processed. After being unable to post bond, he was transported to the PSB.
