Unit 2: Motorized Wheel Chair driven by: Kenneth Parker Jr (M) (82) of Hoopeston.

Details: HPD, HFD, Arrow were all dispatched to the scene of an accident involving a car and a wheelchair. Unit 1 cited for Failure to Reduce to Avoid an Accident.

Mr Parker was transported to Carle Hoopeston E.D. for treatment. Unit 1 was insured.

Details: Hoopeston Police responded to the compl resd above for a theft complaint. Mr. Woods was located, transported to HPD for processing and later released with a City Notice to Appear.

 

 

 

Traffic Accident H20-3303

Date: 07/26/2020

Location: 500 blk of N 6th Ave

Unit 1: 2013 Ford F150 driven by Doug Lewis(60)(M) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2006 Nissan Ultima parked by Phyllis Cox(F) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 2 was parked to the east of the alleyway in the backyard of the lot to the

north of the above location. Unit 1 was turning right into the alleyway and

was traveling north. As Unit1 made the turn, he struck the rear bumper of

Unit 2 during the turn and damage the bumper on Unit 2. Unit 1 had damage

along the passenger side of his truck. No Injuries or citations were reported.

Both units insured.
