Hoopeston Police Department Report 7/31-8/3/2020

Disobeying Police (city) H20-3406

Time: 1:08am

Location: 400 blk S 5th St

Arrested: Vicki Ford (F) (62) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers responded to the above location for the report of a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, Ms. Ford refused to cooperate with officers. She was arrested and

taken to HPD to be processed. She was later released with a city citation and city

court date.

 

Battery (city) H20-3407

Time: 5:04am

Location: 300 blk W Main St

Complainant: 57 year old Hoopeston female

Arrested: Vicki Ford (F) (62) of Hoopeston

Details: After being release from HPD, Ms. Ford went to the complainant’s residence

and battered her. HPD arrested subject and brought her back to HPD to be

processed. Later she was released with a city citation and court date.

 

 

Trespassing(City) H20-3412

Time: 1:56PM

Location: 112 E Main St(112 Wine and Coffee Shop)

Arrested: Linsey M Warner(32)(F)of Hoopeston

Details: HPD Officers were dispatched to the above location for a disturbance. Ms.

Warner was located and transported to HPD for processing and later released

with a city notice to appear.

Criminal Damage to State Supported Property (2 counts)

Resisting Police Officers, Obstructing Justice, No Valid Driver’s License,

Time: 06:53 AM H20-3430 2020-5973

Location: 500 block West Main Street, South Alley,

Arrested: Hensley, Chase R. (M) (25) Homeless of Hoopeston

Details: Hoopeston Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle that was being driven by the arrested person who was known to not to have driver’s license. Due to his action is what brought about the additional charges? Transported to PSB in Danville to await a bond hearing before a judge. Vehicle he was driving was towed by Knuth’s under the city PNT ordinance.

 

Traffic Accident (Hit and Run) H20-3442

Time: 10:01pm

Location: 3rd St/E Thompson Av

Unit #1: 2006 Dodge Pickup driven by Matthew Carter (37) (M) of St. Joseph

Unit #2: Pole owned by Frontier Communications

Details: HPD and HFD were dispatched to the area for a hit and run accident to a pole.

An investigation led officers to the arrest Mr. Carter. He was brought to HPD and

cited for:

Leaving Scene of Accident

Improper Lane Usage

Operating an Uninsured Vehicle

He was released with tickets and court date. No injures were reported.

Fire Call

Time: 2:25am

Location: 426 N Dixie Hwy, Heritage Health

Details: HFD responded to a fire alarm and concluded that it was a mechanical issue

that is being looked into.

 

 

 

Hit and Run Accident H20-3448

Time: 7:32am

Location: 6th St and E main St

Details: HPD officer responded to the above location where he observed the sign on the corner had been hit by an unknown vehicle.
