Vermilion County Covid 19 update

9 new cases and 3 releases today brings our total of active cases to 34.  All of the active cases are at home in isolation and we have no one hospitalized at this moment.  1 case is an infant, 1 grade school child,  2 cases in their 20s, 1 cases are in their 30s, 1 case in their 50s, 1 case are in their 70s, 1 case in their 80s and our first case of someone in their 90s.  1 of the cases is related to a previous case and one case is a nursing home resident.    I do not have information of the symptoms.

You may have noticed that Region 4 (not us) has been put on extra restrictions due to their positivity rate being over 8% over an extended amount of time.  I have included the site to look at what those restriction are to give you an idea what happens if our region, which is Region 6, gets in to the same predicament.  They are not moving back to Phase 3, but rather certain restrictions to help get them back down so they do not move back to phase 3.  http://www.dph.illinois.gov/news/region-4-mitigation-measures
