Details: At the above time, complainant reported that person(s) unknown and without permission had done damage to the west side of their building shop.

Location: 719 W. Elm St (Fast Lanes Pit Stop)

Complainant: (74) year old Hoopeston male

Details: Complainant contacted HPD when he discovered his phone was taken.

Investigation continues.

Location: 700 block of S. 3rd St

Complainant: (25) year old Hoopeston male

Details: Complainant contacted HPD when he discovered someone had made entry into his residence and removed items without his permission. Investigation continues.

Theft (SOLVED) H20-4001

Time: 1:36pm

Location: 719 W. Elm St (Fast Lanes Pit Stop)

Complainant: (74) year old Hoopeston male

Arrested: James Shoulders (46) year old Hoopeston male

Details: Complainant contacted HPD when he discovered his phone was taken.

Investigation continues.

 

Shoulders was identified through security camera footage.

Subject was taken to HPD, processed and later released with a notice to appear in Hoopeston City Court

 

 

Violation of Order of Protection; Resist/Obstruct Peace Officer H20-3561 2020-7018

Date and Time of Offense: 8/8/20 02:21am

Date and Time of Arrest: 9/2/20 4:07pm

Location: 1st Ave/Maple St

Arrested: Chad Baker (46) year old Sheldon male

Details: On 8/8/2020 Mr. Baker was in violation of an outstanding Iroquois County Order of Protection (18OP196)

On 9/2/2020 Mr. Baker was located and charged with the above. Baker was taken to HPD, processed and later transported to the PSB.
