Testing

  • Apparently, once the word got out about the testing at Gibson Health of Hoopeston, they got overwhelmed and their supply pretty much got depleted.  They are now changing their qualifications to get tested and only have so many rapid tests, but they also have the other swab tests.
    • They will now ONLY test their patients, people who need testing before going through procedures under the Gibson Hospital Facilities, AND ANYONE who needs a test to get back to school or work.  I am very sorry for the inconvenience.  Again, it is advised to call ahead to find out what is available and if you will be able to get a test.
    • Just a reminder that the rapid test is an antigen test, not a PCR test.  There are some places that do require the PCR (swab test that is sent to a lab).
  • See attachment for updated testing sites
