Trespassing (City),Possession of Drug Paraphernalia(city) H20-4424

Arrested: Randy S. Dillon(37)(M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location for a report of Trespassing. Mr. Dillon was arrested and a search of his persons resulted in Drug Paraphernalia found. Mr. Dillon was then transported to HPD for processing and later released with a City notice to appear.

Illegal Burning

Time: 08:15 am

Location: 700 S 2nd Avenue

Details: HFD, HPD, sent to investigate an illegal burning of railroad ties, which are illegal to burn because they contain creosol which causes breathing issues for people. Fire was put out and all units cleared.

 

 

Traffic Accident (PD Only) H20-4439

Time: 7:55 AM

Location: S 5th Avenue/W Lincoln Street

Unit 1: 2019 Hyundai driven by Raeanne Riesland (F) (29) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2017 GMC SUV driven by Shirley A Fell (F) (72) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was requested to investigate an accident that had occurred at the above listed intersection. Driver of Unit 1 was south bound on South 5th Ave, she went to turn onto W Lincoln Street did not see Unit 2 and struck her GMC. Unit 1 towed from scene by Knuth’s, Both Units insured, and no report of injuries at the time of the report.

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location for a report of loose dog. Ms. Irvin was located and given a City Notice to appear.
