Vermilion County Covid 19 update 9/29/2020

We are dangerously close on both a regional level (7.1%) and a county level (7.4%) to go over the 8% threshold for positivity rates.  IDPH has decided to exclude Champaign County from our region because of their enormous testing output which skews the region’s true positivity rate.

  • CVS has testing available now, 7 days a week.  You MUST go online and fill out a form to see if you qualify and make an appointment.  Some areas do have the rapid testing, but mostly the PCR tests.  Available for anyone age 12 and over.  They will require you to do your own swabbing.  There are a lot of FAQs on the site, that should be able to answer all your questions.
