The Vermilion County Health Department says that 134 more people have been diagnosed with COVID-19 locally, and two more people have died from it.
Administrator Doug Toole says the two people who died were a woman in her 90’s and a man in his 70’s. Vermilion County has seen 36 COVID deaths since the pandemic began.
Currently, there are 283 active cases locally, and 27 residents in the hospital. Vermilion County has seen a total of 2,893 cases since March.
