Vermilion County is reporting 131 new cases today (one resident in their 80s, one in their 60s, eight in their 50s, four in their 40s, five in their 30s, twelve in their 20s, six teens, three grade-school children, one pre-schooler, and one toddler), and 45 released, which brings us to a total of 3,723 positive cases -- 332 of which are active.
We are saddened to report an additional COVID-related death today : a woman in her 80s. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her families and friends. That increases our total deaths to 46.
There are currently 34 COVID-positive Vermilion County residents hospitalized.
We have received 53,544 negative test results.
