The Vermilion County Health Deparftment reported one hundred and four new cases today (two residents in their 80s, ten in their 70s, seventeen in their 60s, nineteen in their 50s, eight in their 40s, thirteen in their 30s, eleven in their 20s, eleven teens, nine grade-school-aged children, two pre-schoolers, and two toddlers), and 97 released, which brings us to a total of 4,525 positive cases -- 337 of which are active.

We are saddened to report three additional COVID-related deaths -- a woman in her 60s, a man in his 70s, and a man in his 60s.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families and friends.  Vermilion County has now suffered 59 COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently 39 COVID-positive Vermilion County residents hospitalized.
