Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden stated that an early evening house fire in Danville where two victims were found is still an on-going investigation by the Danville Fire Department, the Illinois State Fire Marshall’s Office and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office.

The house fire was reported on Thursday, December 17, 2020 shortly after 5:23 p.m. at 419 N. Bowman Avenue. The victims have been identified as brothers; 45-year-old Edward B. Wilson and 41-year-old Martez L. Wilson, both of Danville. Coroner McFadden stated that that the victims will both be sent to autopsy for cause of death.
