Vermilion County Covid 19 update 12/24/2020

We are reporting seventy-six new cases today (one resident in their 90s, one in their 80s, seven in their 70s, seventeen in their 60s, eleven in their 50s, nine in their 40s, thirteen in their 30s, five in their 20s, three teens, seven grade-school-aged children, one toddler, and one infant), and 73 released, which brings us to a total of 4,794 positive cases -- 334 of which are active.

There are currently 38 COVID-positive Vermilion County residents hospitalized.

We have received a total of 65,379 negative test results.

Some counties in our region received their initial shipment of COVID vaccine today.  We have been told that if we do not receive ours today, we will likely receive it next week.
