Disorderly Conduct H21-0474

Complainant: 41-year-old Hoopeston Woman

Arrestee: Edwards, Joshua J (M) (43) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD was summoned to the 700-block due to a disturbance that was going on and he was supposedly armed with a shovel. It was also reported of a male taking his clothing off. Upon arrival Officer found the arrestee who had only taken his shirt off. Male was taken to HPD, processed on the above charge and released with a City Court ticket to Appear.

 

 

Traffic Accident H21477

Location: N 4th St/E Seminary Ave

Unit 1: 2002 Chevrolet driven by Jerry Dalton (56)(M)of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2018 Hyundai parked by Lauren Hamilton(F) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit was traveling westbound on E Seminary when is vehicle malfunctioned and was no longer able to drive forward. Unit 1 began driving his vehicle in reverse eastbound on Seminary and turned on 4th st heading Northbound. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 which was parked on the west side of the road. No Injuries were reported and both units insured. Driver of Unit 1 was issued a citation for Improper backing and a citation for improper lane usage.
