Vermilion County Covid 19 update 2/13/21

We are reporting 134 new cases today (four residents in their 80s, five in their 70s, sixteen in their 60s, fifteen in their 50s, twenty-eight in their 40s, seventeen in their 30s, eleven in their 20s, twenty-four teens, eleven grade-school-aged children, one toddler, and two infants), and 138 released, which brings us to a total of 8,222 positive cases.

We are saddened to report another five COVID-related deaths -- a woman in her 70s, two men in their 80s, and two men in their 50s.  Our sympathies go out to their families and friends.  We have lost a total of 101 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently 12 Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 302 active COVID cases in the county.  We have received 97,217 negative test results.


The Mobile COVID-Testing Team will return to the front parking lot of the health department on Sunday, Feb. 21.
