We have lost a total of 118 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently seven Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 233 active COVID cases in the county.  We have received 108,058 negative test results.

Some things of note regarding our COVID vaccination clinics :

We are no longer taking new appointments for the clinics at the Fischer Theatre.  Those who already have appointments to receive their first-dose or second-dose vaccinations at our March 11th clinic at the Fischer Theatre will receive their vaccinations there.  Those who received their first-dose vaccinations at the Fischer Theatre, and who have appointments to receive their second-dose vaccinations at our March 18th, March 25th, April 1st, and April 8th clinics at the Fischer, will receive their vaccinations there.   But we have not scheduled any clinics at the Fischer after April 8.

The Fischer Theatre has been an amazing host !!  We want to thank the staff and the volunteers there for all the help they have given to us.

With some help from our partners, we will be offering vaccination clinics at some new locations.

There will be indoor vaccination clinics at Danville Area Community College on certain days, and outdoor clinics at the Vermilion County Airport on certain days.  Additional clinics will be offered, as well.

These clinics will be held on an appointment basis.  People can make appointments two ways.

•             They can use the links on our website, www.vchd.org<http://www.vchd.org>, which are https://events.juvare.com/IL-IDPH/e3885403-29e7-4bc5-a153-aef2f4efe251/<https://events.juvare.com/IL-IDPH/e3885403-29e7-4bc5-a153-aef2f4efe251/>  for the clinic at DACC, and https://events.juvare.com/IL-IDPH/ebbec390-aaf5-4278-8ac8-d1fe8bc0eeb8/<https://events.juvare.com/IL-IDPH/ebbec390-aaf5-4278-8ac8-d1fe8bc0eeb8/>  for the clinic at the airport.  These will allow people to schedule their own appointments, and to fill out the online consent form and pre-screening form.

•             Starting Wednesday, March 10, people can call (217) 431-2662, ext. 263 or 264, and someone will assist them in making the appointment and filling out the online consent form and pre-screening form.

We are calling the people who are on our wait-list and are signing them up for appointments at our upcoming clinics.

Those coming to our clinics at the Fischer Theatre still need to bring consent forms and pre-screening forms with them.  The other clinics will use online forms.
