Vermilion County Covid 19 update 3/16/21

We had a successful day at DACC and some of our manufacturers.  We vaccinated over 400 people today and we will be back at DACC on Wednesday.  Our Thursday Clinic at the Airport has been cancelled due to the impending weather, specifically the winds and how they will affect our tents. 

We have opened this week back open for people to make appointments at DACC and the airport as we have received more vaccine.  We are still going to try to limit our clinics to about 300 per day now due to the amount of vaccine we have so that we will be able to complete all clinics and not have to cancel them due to shortages.  Please go to our website for the DACC and Airport links.  www.vchd.org   Please encourage our community to get the vaccine and make use of the many opportunities through VCHD, Carle, OSF, and our pharmacies. 

I hope to open up our other locations by the end of the day tomorrow.   With offering clinics 6 days a week, I will be out of the office most days and if you need me, email will be the best lines of communication.
