Vermilion County Covid 19 update 3/29/21

We are continuing to vaccinate with the Illinois National Guard and we received great news that they can stay longer than we had originally anticipated!  We are looking to schedule more pop up clinics throughout April and May!  Please spread the word that the phases for waiting are no longer mandated here in Vermilion County!!  There are opportunities through Carle (https://carle.org/home/covid-19-resources/covid-19-vaccine-information/county-information ), OSF (https://www.osfhealthcare.org/covid19/vaccine/),  Aunt Martha’s (https://www.auntmarthas.org/covid19resourcecenter/) , the VA, and the pharmacies to get vaccinated here in Vermilion County!  We have had to open up our clinics to the whole state to get them filled!! There is no reason a person in Vermilion County who wants a vaccine cannot receive one.  We are in the lower end still in getting our community vaccinated.

We received a shipment of Johnson and Johnson today and will have a clinic for just Johnson and Johnson on April 7th from 9-2 at the Fischer Theatre and on April 10th here at the Vermilion County Health Department from 9-12.  PLEASE share the Attached flyer for April 7th and information to your Vermilion County Residents, Workers, clients, etc!!!  I want this clinic to be for Vermilion County Residents and workers, but if we do not fill it up, I will open it up to the rest of the state by April 5th.  I will be sending out a similar flyer for the 10th date as soon as I receive the link from Juvare.

Please SHARE with your Vermilion County clients, congregation, workers, staff, groups, etc.   Again, I am supplying the Voucher Code to our stakeholders only.  On our website, they will have to call for the voucher code, as I’m trying to make it a little easier for people to sign in for Vermilion County, but I know it will not stop some people.   Once we hit April 5th, I will add the voucher code to our website to make sure we get it full.
