Vermilion County Covid 19 update 3/31/21

We are reporting six new cases today (one resident in their 70s, one in their 60s, one in their 40s, one in their 30s, one in their 20s, and one infant), and three released, which brings us to a total of 8,830 positive cases.

We have lost a total of 122 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently seven Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 241 active COVID cases in the county.

We are urging adults who live or work in Vermilion County and who are interested in getting a COVID vaccination to take advantage of our temporary influx of State resources, and to make appointments for our upcoming clinics.

Next week, we will hold a J & J clinic at the Fischer on Wednesday (April 7) , a second-dose Moderna clinic at the Fischer on Thursday (April 8), and a J & J clinic on Saturday (April 10.)
