We are reporting 14 new cases today (one resident in their 70s, one in their 60s, one in their 40s, four in their 30s, two in their 20s, one teen, three grade-school-aged children, and one pre-schooler), and 9 released, which brings us to a total of 8,877 positive cases.
We are saddened to report two recent COVID-related deaths -- a man in his 90s, and a man in his 60s. Our sympathies go out to their families and friends. We have lost a total of 125 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.
There are currently two Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized. There are currently 250 active COVID cases in the county.
This week, we will hold a Johnson & Johnson clinic at the Fischer on Wednesday, a second-dose Moderna clinic at the Fischer on Thursday, and a Johnson & Johnson clinic on Saturday.
