Vermilion County Covid 19 update4/14/21

We are reporting 25 new cases (two residents in their 80s, one in their 60s, three in their 50s, six in their 40s, three in their 30s, four in their 20s, and six teens), and 31 released, which brings us to a total of 8,924 positive cases.

We have lost a total of 126 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently four Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 31 active COVID cases in the county.  We have received 126,009 negative test results.

The Illinois National Guard is continuing to assist us with our vaccination clinics.  While our focus the next two weeks will be on providing second-dose Moderna vaccinations at DACC and at the airport to those who received their first-dose Moderna vaccinations last month, we are offering some first-dose vaccination opportunities.  Please check our website, www.vchd.org<http://www.vchd.org>, or call 431-2662, ext. 263 or 264 for details.
