We are reporting 106 new cases and 65 released, which brings us to a total of 9,782 positive cases.
We have lost a total of 135 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.
There are currently 13 Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized. There are currently 181 active COVID cases in the county.
Our next COVID-vaccination clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 27 at the Vermilion County Health Department. Adults will be able to receive a Moderna vaccination or a Johnson & Johnson vaccination at that clinic. People can register for the clinic at www.vchd.org, or can call 431-2662, ext. 263 or 264.

The Illinois National Guard personnel will only be assisting us with our clinics for the next few weeks. We are urging those who are interested in getting COVID vaccinations to do so sooner, rather than later.
