Vermilion County Covid 19 update 5/25/21

Vermilion County Case Counts (as of 5/24)

Active Cases:  160

Hospitalizations:  13

Total Cases (beginning March, 2020):  9,818

Total Released / Recovered:  9,523

Total Deaths:  135

 

Vermilion County Vaccination Counts

Total Number of Vermilion County Residents FULLY vaccinated:  17,990

 

We also have the following clinics this week (information is available at www.vchd.org ) :

 

We will be at the Danville Housing Authority for their residents and guests with Johnson and Johnson on May 26th from 3pm-5pm.  There is no registration required and we ask that people come no later than 4:30.  This will be in their community room in the Administration Building.

On May 27th, we will be offering BOTH Johnson and Johnson and Moderna vaccines between 9am-12pm HERE at the Health Department.  You can register at www.vchd.org or call 217-431-2662 ext. 263 or 264.  We will also take walk-ins (please come no later than 11:30am)

On May 28th, we will be doing 2nd doses at the Salvation Army from 11:30-4:00pm.  There is no registration required and we ask that people come no later than 3:30pm.

 There are still multiple opportunities to get vaccinated throughout Vermilion County.

All Major Pharmacies in Vermilion County (Moderna, Pfizer, and Johnson and Johnson are being offered at least to some of the pharmacies – it’s a good idea to call to see which vaccine they are offering if you have a preference)
