We are saddened to report another COVID-related death, a man in his 90s. Our sympathies go out to his family and friends. We have lost a total of 139 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

There are currently 13 Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized. There are currently 79 active COVID cases in the county.

Of the 25 cases being reported today, four of them told us they have been fully vaccinated. Those four are not necessarily hospitalized or deceased.

We vaccinated 32 people at our COVID clinic today.
