The 2021 Vermilion County Fair opened on Wednesday night with a crowd of more than 2,500 people. 

Tinlee Shepherd, the 17 year old daughter of Jason & Kelli Shepherd of Westville, was crowned this year’s Fair Queen. 

1st runner-up was Alexis Nichols of Danville. She is the daughter of Daryl & Laura Nichols.

In the Jr. Miss pageant, the winner was Katelyn Callahan,  1st runner-up was Olivia Hutchins.
