Hoopeston Police Report 7/12/21

Tresspassing, Disobeying Police, Theft(CITY) H21-3202

Time: 2:16PM

Location: 200 blk of E Washington ST

Arrested: Titus T. Barber(43)(M)of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the above location in reference to someone

trespassing at the above location. Mr. Barber was arrested and transported to

HPD for processing and later released with a City Notice to appear

 

Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Meth H21-3208 2021-5885

Time: 8:19PM

Location: E Penn St/Bank St

Arrested: Cherrica E Hamby(32)(F)of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers while on patrol stopped a vehicle. A search of the vehicle and

of Ms. Hamby found there to be meth in the vehicle. Ms. Hamby was

arrested and transported to HPD for processing and later transported to PSB.

 

Aggravated Domestic Battery, Warrant Arrest H21-3211 2021-5889

Time: 1:15am

Location: 400 blk E Seminary

Complainant: 35 year old Hoopeston female

Arrested: Travis Houser (30) (M) of Hoopeston

Details HPD officers were called out in reference to a domestic battery. A computer

check revealed Mr. Houser had an outstanding Iroquois County warrant. He was

arrested for above listed charges and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later

transported the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Possession of Methamphetamine H21-3228

Time: 6:58pm

Location: 100 blk W Thompson

Arrested: Julie Stevens (38) (F) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were doing routine checks of abandoned buildings and found Ms.

Stevens trespassing inside. Upon investigation, methamphetamine was found

on her person. She was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. She was later

transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.

 

Criminal Damage to Property H21-3230

Time: 9:56pm

Location: 1100 blk Savannah Ct

Details: HPD officers went to the above area for the report of juveniles shining flashlights

in an abandoned residence. While in the area, officers found 2 windows to be

broken. An investigation continues.
