Vermilion County Covid 19 update 7/13/21

We are reporting 13 new cases (one resident in their 60s, two in their 40s, one in their 30s, two in their 20s, three teens, three grade-school-aged children, and one infant), and 6 released, which brings us to a total of 10,114 positive cases.

 

We have lost a total of 149 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

 

There are currently 5 Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 40 active COVID cases in the county. 

 

Of the 13 cases being reported today, none of them told us they have been fully vaccinated.

 

 

We holding one COVID-19 vaccination clinic per month at the Health Department at this time.  Please see our website, www.vchd.org, for registration information.  Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins will be allowed up until 30 minutes before the end of clinic times.

 

Upcoming clinics at the Health Department will be:

•             July 14th (this will be Johnson and Johnson from 10-11 and Moderna from 11-12) 

•             August 11th (Moderna from 10-12)

•             September 8th (Moderna from 10-12)
