We are reporting 12 new cases (four residents in their 60s, two in their 50s, one in their 40s, one in their 30s, two in their 20s, one teen, and one pre-schooler), and 2 released, which brings us to a total of 10,164 positive cases.

 

We are saddened to report another COVID-related death – a woman in her 50s.  Our sympathies go out to her family and friends.  We have lost a total of 154 Vermilion County residents to COVID-related deaths since this pandemic began.

 

There are currently 5 Vermilion County residents with COVID hospitalized.  There are currently 65 active COVID cases in the county. 

 

Of the 12 cases being reported today, four of them told us they have been fully vaccinated.
