Details: The owner of Unit 2 told HPD officers that his vehicle was struck at an

unknown location and time. Unit 2 was insured and an investigation

continues.

Unit 1: ’99 GMC utility driven by Brandon Irvin (M) (26) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: ’12 Buick 4D driven by Linda Carlson (F) (73) of Hoopeston

Details: Both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were traveling westbound on W Main St. Unit 2

was preparing to turn south, when the brakes failed to work in Unit 1 and struck

Unit 2. No injuries were reported at the time of call, no tickets were issued and

both units were insured.
