Traffic Accident (PD) H21-4254 Time: 08:15 AM Location: S 4th St & E Maple St Hoopeston Unit 1: 2002 Dodge Dakota driven by Nora S Mann (F) (25) of Hoopeston Unit 2: 2004 Buick Sedan driven by Debra S Winters (F) (65) of Hoopeston Details: Unit 1 was travelling south bound on S 4th St approach the back of Unit 2 at the stop sign of S 4th St/E Maple. Unit 1 stated they applied brakes but could not stop. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 still unable to stop Unit 1 steered into stop sign on Northside of the intersection to slow the moving Dakota to a stop. Both Units insured, No injuries reported, and no Citations.
