Vermilion County NEW Case Counts (as of 9/30)

Updated Case Numbers:   47 new cases and 40 were released.  Of the 47 new cases, 0 were fully vaccinated.  We had zero breakthrough cases (those who were vaccinated and were hospitalized or died) and zero reinfection.   

 

We continue to see a high number of cases in our youth and young adults. 

 

27 cases under the age of 20

20 cases between the ages of 20 – 49

ZERO new cases over the age of 50.    

 

 

 

Regional Hospital Information (Region 6 covers 21 counties and has 15 hospitals and 1 VA)

 

Four of our Region’s Hospital’s EDs were at Peak Census as of this morning.  We are finally seeing hospitalizations go down as a whole in our region.  We have had over 10 days of patient decreases or days of stabilization.  Let’s hope this continues.
