Vermilion County Covid 19 update 11/5/21

Vermilion County New Case Counts 11/1 – 11/4:  We had 244 new cases and 238 were released.  Of the 244 new cases, 15 were vaccinated.  We currently have 13 people hospitalized.   One case was a breakthrough case and one case was a reinfection. 63  cases – Under the age of 20

112 cases – Ages 20-49

69 cases – Ages 50 and above

Total Number of Vaccinations Administered (includes 12+):  56,912


Total Number of Vermilion County Residents FULLY vaccinated (includes 12+):  29,633


Percentage of Vermilion County’s TOTAL Population who are FULLY vaccinated:  38.58%


For total population numbers ONLY, if we look at current estimated population, (2021 – 73,870), Vermilion County looks closer to 40.1% fully vaccinated.  


Percentage of those who are 65+ and have at least 1 dose:  75,03%


Percentage and Number of those who are 65+ that are fully vaccinated:  72.20% /
