The Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has identified the victim of a shooting that occurred on Saturday, May 21, 2022, in Danville as 25 year-old Davanta T. Calhoun-Jackson of Danville, Illinois.

Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden stated that Mr. Calhoun-Jackson’s family has been notified. An autopsy was performed. The Danville Police Department and the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate.
