Disobeying Police (city) H22-2809

Arrested: Kaitlin McGill (F) (24) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were called to the area for a possible domestic problem. Upon arrival, Ms. McGill refused to obey simple commands by the officers. Subject was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. She was later released with a city citation and city court date.

 

Traffic Accident H22-2812

Time: 12:11PM

Location: S 6th St/E Elm St

Unit 1: 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Penny Nuss (54) (F) of Hoopeston

Unit 2: 2008 Saturn Sedan driven by Gavin Pickett (16) (M) of Hoopeston

Details: Unit 1 was traveling south of on S 6th St when she failed to yield at the yield sign and proceeded through the intersection. Unit 2 was traveling east on E Elm St, when Unit 1 blew through the yield sign in front of them causing Unit 2 to strike Unit 1 in the passenger side at the junction of where the front and rear doors meet. No injuries were reported, both units insured.

 

Driving While License Suspended H22-2820

Time: 9:04pm

Location: E Maple/S 4th St

Arrested: Bailey Hall (M) (23) of Fowler, IN

Details: HPD officers stopped the vehicle Mr. Hall was driving for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that he had a suspended driver’s license. He was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later released with a traffic citation and traffic court date.

 

Fire Call

Location: 100 blk W Thompson

Details: HFD, HPD and several area fire departments in both Vermilion and Iroquois Counties

responded to a structure fire of an abandoned building. The fire is under investigation.
