Arrested: Craig Stevens (44) (M) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers were out with Mr. Stevens a computer search showed him to have an active warrant out of Vermilion County. Mr. Stevens was arrested and transported to HPD for processing and later transported to PSB.

 

Criminal Damage to Property (city) H22-2974

Time: 6:30pm

Location: W Penn St/College Way

Complainant: 18 year old Hoopeston male

Cited: 16 year old Hoopeston juvenile

Details: HPD officers met with complainant at HPD in reference to damage to his vehicle. After an investigation, the juvenile was cited for Criminal Damage to Property and given a city court date.

 

Possession of Methamphetamine, Resisting Arrest H22-2979 2022-6007

Time: 9:42pm

Location: S 6th Av/W Main St

Arrested: Joe Castaneda (M) (41) of Hoopeston

Details: HPD officers checked on Mr. Castaneda after he fell off his bike at the above location. After an investigation, Mr. Castaneda was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and resisting arrest. He was taken to HPD and later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
