Details: While on patrol, HPD officers found a broken window to a vehicle. An investigation

Burglary to Auto H22-3836

Time: 2:08am

Location: 700 blk E Young Av

Complainant: 42 year old Hoopeston female

Details: HPD officers were dispatched to the area for the report of a burglary. Unknown subject

got into the complainant’s vehicle and stole a Bluetooth device. An investigation

continues.

 

Sexual Predator within a Public Park (2nd Offense) H22-3845 2022-7713

Time: 2:12PM

Location: 1 McFerren Way (McFerren Park)

Arrested: Michael L Tuel (35) (M) of Danville

Details: HPD Officers responded out to the above for a report of a registered offender inside the

park. Mr. Tuel was located and transported to HPD for processing and later transported to

PSB to await arraignment.

 

Battery H22-3849

Time: 6:35pm

Location: McFerren Park

Complainant: 13 year old Hoopeston male

Arrested: 15 year old Hoopeston male

Details: HPD officers and Auxiliary were called to McFerren Park for the report of a battery.

After an investigation, the juvenile was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He

was later released to a parent.
