Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving While Registration Suspended H23-3036 2023-5147 Time: 7:48PM Location: E McCracken Ave/N Market St Arrested: Robert Deaton (49)(M) of Hoopeston Cited Michael Deaton (57) (M) of Milford Details: HPD stopped the vehicle Michael Deaton was driving for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed his registration was suspended. The passenger, Robert Deaton was found to be in possession of methamphetamines. Robert Deaton was arrested and taken to HPD to be processed. He was later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment. Michael Deaton was released from scene after being given a traffic citation and traffic court date.

Warrant Arrest H23-3037 2023-5152 Time: 9:03pm Location: 301 W Main St, Hoopeston Police Dept Arrested: 15 year old male juvenile Details: Juvenile (with parent) turned himself into HPD on an outstanding Vermilion County warrant. He was arrested, processed and later transported to JDC in Danville by a Vermilion County Deputy.
